Irving returned to action for the Celtics this evening in their 109-102 win over the Nets to continue their hot winning streak.
Boston are now 13 games unbeaten heading into Thursday’s huge match against reigning NBA champions Golden State Warriors.
The former Cleveland Cavaliers point guard donned a mash after suffering a facial fracture against the Charlotte Hornets at the weekend.
But he still came up trumps with a game-high 25 points as well as providing five assists.
However, perhaps his biggest highlight of the match came after the game had finished.
As the players were making their way off the court, Irving spotted two ladies in their army uniforms and headed over to greet them.
But they wouldn’t only just get to meet the Celtics star. He whipped off his game jersey and trainers and handed them over to the military personnel.
And he was praised on social media for his actions by NBA fans.
“Such a class act, gotta love that dude!”
While another posted: “That was very nice of him! That’s why you rock @KyrieIrving!”
