Vodafone has announced its intention to sell only the storm BlackBerry smartphone by Research In Motion to many countries such as Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand next month.

Boasted of being the first "clickable" touchscreen smartphone, the BlackBerry Storm will be compatible with Vodafone high-speed 3G mobile broadband networks.

The main attributes of the storm sparkling smartphone include 3.25-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels, a full QWERTY keyboard and support for RIM’s SureType or multi-tap keyboard.

Other phone features include 3.2 megapixel camera with video, up to 16GB of expandable memory, desktop-style representation either portrait or landscape and high-speed Web browsing. It adds support for multi-buttons, valves and slides to facilitate the operations.

In addition, other highlights of the device are access to Flickr, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube, Vodafone and all entertainment and information services, including Vodafone, Music, Google Maps and Find & Go Navigation And the Vodafone live! Portal.

Price details Blackberry storm is expected to be announced in coming weeks. The device is also expected to be available for purchase from Verizon Wireless in the U.S. market.
